Princess Sarashina (actually the Demon Woman of Mt. Togakushi)
A demon hiding in Mt. Togakushi in Nagano. Disguised as a princess, she lures a passing group to drink and dance, hoping to kill them.
Taira Koremochi
A brave warrior and the shogun designate.
Mountain god
Appears to Koremochi to warn him of danger. He was portrayed as an old man when the play was first performed, but is now usually shown as a young boy.
